Dr. Tom Baudinette is a Senior Lecturer at Macquarie University's School of International Studies, specializing in cultural anthropology focusing on queer communities and East/Southeast Asian popular culture. He joined Macquarie University in 2017 with a PhD and BA(Hons) in Japanese Studies from Monash University. His research explores transnational queer media, K-pop fandom, and the impact of digital media on gender and sexuality.
