Eva Brodin is an Associate Professor at the Department of Educational Sciences, Lund University, within the Faculty of Humanities and Theology. She serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Division for Higher Education Development (AHU) and acts as a supervisor for educational sciences. Her work spans teaching, research supervision, and interdisciplinary capacity-building initiatives.
Research Focus:
Her research centers on scholarly development, doctoral education, and critical perspectives on higher education, with a focus on interdisciplinary approaches. She integrates educational, philosophical, and psychological theories to address complex challenges in postgraduate education, particularly in East Africa and Sweden. Her projects include RESPECT (funded by the Swedish Institute) and collaborations across South Africa and Uganda.
Teaching & Supervision:
She teaches doctoral students at Lund University and previously taught qualitative research methods and theory of science at the Department of Psychology. Her supervision spans Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD levels across diverse disciplines.
