Erik R. Coats is the Sorenson Family Endowed Professor in Water Resources and Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering at University of Idaho. He teaches courses covering environmental engineering fundamentals, water/wastewater systems design, waste management, and engineering law.
His research focuses on water resources management, wastewater treatment technologies, and sustainable waste processing systems.
