Ericka Rovira serves as Professor of Engineering Psychology in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the United States Military Academy (West Point), where she investigates human autonomy teaming in high-risk complex environments with focus on trust in robotic systems, team cohesion dynamics, and cognitive individual differences.
Her academic credentials include:
- Ph.D. in Applied Experimental Psychology from The Catholic University of America
- M.A. in Human Factors from The Catholic University of America
- B.S. in Engineering Psychology and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University
Professor Rovira leads a $7.5 million Multi University Research Initiative grant spanning five years to advance human-autonomous teaming research with six institutional collaborators. She previously chaired West Point's Engineering Psychology Program and served as President of the American Psychological Association's Division 21 (Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology).
