David Frey is a Professor of History at the US Military Academy, where he has taught since 2004. He is the founding director of the Resnick Center for Holocaust & Genocide Studies and holds a Ph.D. in Central European History from Columbia University. His research spans genocide studies, Holocaust history, 20th-century European history, and the intersection of film and propaganda.

Dr. Frey specializes in marginalized communities during WWII, leadership in genocide, and modern antisemitic narratives. His current projects include interdisciplinary research on Jewish refugees in US Army intelligence, atrocity prevention strategies, and radical disinformation analysis.
Recent publications focus on political theater in intelligence operations, wartime Hungarian cinema, and ethical leadership in military contexts. His work has appeared in Intelligence and National Security, Journal of Contemporary History, and edited volumes.
