Eric Rutkow is an Associate Professor in the Department of History at the University of Central Florida in Orlando. His scholarly work bridges American history, environmental studies, and international relations, with particular expertise in infrastructure development across the Americas.

Rutkow's research examines how physical landscapes and constructed infrastructure have shaped cultural, political, and economic relationships throughout the Western Hemisphere.
