Carlton F.W. Larson is the Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at the University of California, Davis School of Law. His expertise spans constitutional law, legal history, and treason law. He has authored influential books including On Treason: A Citizen's Guide to the Law and The Trials of Allegiance: Treason, Juries, and the American Revolution, which have shaped scholarly and public discourse. His research has been cited by courts and featured in major media outlets like The New York Times and TIME.
Education: A.B. in History (summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from Harvard University (1997), J.D. from Yale Law School (2000). Professional background includes clerkship with Judge Michael Daly Hawkins (9th Circuit) and commercial litigation at Covington & Burling. He teaches Constitutional Law I/II and Legal History.
