Lainie Rutkow, PhD, MPH, JD, is a Professor of Health Policy and Management at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She also serves as Executive Vice Provost at Johns Hopkins University, overseeing faculty affairs, student affairs, and interdisciplinary initiatives. Her research focuses on public health law, policy evaluation, and emergency preparedness, with over 125 peer-reviewed publications. Key accomplishments include leading the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, recognized by TIME as a Top 100 Invention of 2020, and advising governments on public health strategies.
