Thomas Lininger is the Orlando John and Marian H. Hollis Professor at the University of Oregon School of Law, where he has served since 2003. His work spans criminal law, environmental law, and evidentiary ethics, with a focus on domestic violence prosecution, environmental advocacy ethics, and improving access to justice for indigent parties. He has received multiple teaching and service awards and actively contributes to policy and legal reform through state commissions.
