Eric Anderson is a Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), specializing in the history of modern design. He holds a BA from Williams College and a PhD from Columbia University. His research focuses on interiors, design exhibitions, psychological theories in design, and global modernism. He conducted Fulbright-funded research at the Sigmund Freud Museum in Vienna for a forthcoming book on decorative experiences in Vienna.
