Eren Akkan is an Associate Professor at Kedge Business School. He holds a PhD from IESE Business School (Spain) and previously worked in engineering and project management roles in telecommunications and IT industries. His research examines international mobility, global work, diverse workforce management, and evolving work arrangements, with a focus on individual transitions and socio-cultural impacts.
Akkan teaches courses in cross-cultural management, organizational behavior, human resource management, and research methods. He collaborates with private organizations and NGOs on diversity and global mobility initiatives and serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Managerial Psychology.
His publications (2018-2025) consistently explore themes like cultural intelligence, migrant integration, leadership humility, and expatriate adaptation. Key methodological approaches include meta-analyses, cross-cultural surveys, and theoretical frameworks linking institutional contexts to individual career trajectories.
