Dr Emma Teasdale is a Qualitative Research Fellow in Primary Care within the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton. Her research focuses on qualitative and mixed-methods studies exploring health behaviors in response to health threats and chronic illnesses, such as eczema, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), cellulitis, and chronic kidney disease. She holds a PhD (2015) investigating behavioral responses to acute respiratory infections. Current projects include the TIP Trial (evaluating communication skills e-learning in primary care) and the ATLANTIS Trial (assessing low-dose amitriptyline for IBS). She collaborates with institutions like the Primary Care Research Centre and the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology.
