Emma Taylor is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the North Wales Business School, Wrexham University, having transitioned to academia in 2018 after over twenty years of professional HR experience. She currently serves as Programme Leader for the MA HRM, Online MBA, and MSc International Management Suite while overseeing the MSc programme and online business provision.
Her academic qualifications include a Master's in Human Resource Management and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. She holds Fellowship status with the Higher Education Academy and is pursuing Senior Fellowship while completing her MPhil/PhD research on job satisfaction and motivation within the Welsh Higher Education sector.
Research focuses intensely on Human Resource Management systems and Organizational Behavior dynamics, with specialized expertise in employment relations frameworks, organizational restructuring methodologies, TUPE regulations, and tribunal proceedings. Current doctoral work examines motivational drivers and satisfaction metrics among Welsh university staff.
