Dr. Emma Griffiths is a Senior Lecturer at the Rural Clinical School, part of the UWA Medical School at The University of Western Australia. She holds dual roles as a general practitioner and public health physician, with a focus on improving health equity in remote and Indigenous communities. Her work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to health and well-being.
Education: PhD in Medicine (Reproductive Health in the Western Desert).
Research Interests: Public health, diabetes management in pregnancy, Indigenous health equity, and remote healthcare delivery. She emphasizes culturally responsive approaches to address disparities in chronic disease prevention and maternal health outcomes.

- Optimisation of screening and management of hyperglycaemia in pregnancy (Medical Research Future Fund)
