Eljas Oksanen serves as a Docent (Associate Professor) at the Department of Cultures within the Faculty of Arts, University of Helsinki. Awarded his Title of Docent in Archaeology in 2024, he supervises doctoral candidates in the History and Cultural Heritage Doctoral Programme. His external affiliations include ongoing Fellowship in the Society of Antiquaries of London (since 2017) and previous Honorary Research Associate status at UCL Institute of Archaeology (2015-2020).
