Elizabeth Tomos

Elizabeth Tomos is a Lecturer in Fine Art at Falmouth University since 2020, with extensive experience in arts education and performance-based practice. Her work bridges printmaking with live art through her hybrid methodology 'Perform//Print,' focusing on ecological justice, esotericism, and posthuman theory. She is also director and curator of Trans- States, a community interest company exploring intersections between occulture, pedagogy, and climate activism.

Her research explores the convergence of performance art, printmaking, and ecological crises, integrating esoteric traditions and posthumanist philosophy. She examines how embodied practices and occulture can reimagine human-environment relationships through art.

Recent work includes the 2024 In Contact and Hiraeth, which interrogate climate grief and ecological responsibility via hybrid methodologies. Her 2022-2023 projects focused on curatorial frameworks for esoteric art and climate-themed collaborations like Vibrant Matter.
