Ann Veronica Gunn is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in the School of Art History at the University of St Andrews. Her research focuses on 18th to 20th century British art, with specializations in maritime art, prints, and printmaking techniques. She is particularly known for her work on Paul Sandby and Wilhelmina Barns-Graham. Gunn holds a BA (Hons) from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth, and a Museums Association Diploma.
Her research interests include museum studies, curatorial practices, and collections management. She has led projects funded by institutions like the Carnegie Trust and the Scottish Funding Council, including a major catalogue raisonné of Paul Sandby’s prints and studies on 18th-century Scottish printmaking.
