Elizabeth May is a Professor at Dalhousie University's Department of Women's Health and Environmental Studies. She is also a prominent environmentalist, lawyer, and author, currently serving as a Member of Parliament and Chief of the Green Party of Canada. Her academic affiliation stems from her role as the first chair-holder of the Elizabeth May Chair in Women's Health and Environment at Dalhousie University, established in 1998.
