Elizabeth Kelvin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy (SPH). She also serves as a Researcher at the CUNY Institute for Implementation Science in Population Health and the CUNY SPH Center for Immigrant, Refugee and Global Health, and holds adjunct appointments at Hofstra University/Northwell Health and the University of Alcalá in Spain. Her research focuses on infectious diseases, particularly neurocysticercosis and HIV/AIDS, with a focus on low- and middle-income countries. Dr. Kelvin has led randomized controlled trials (RCTs), including studies on albendazole treatment for neurocysticercosis and HIV self-testing (HIVST) in Kenya, contributing to policy changes such as HIVST approval in Kenya. She directs the Neglected and Emerging Infectious Diseases (NEID) lab, which includes students and faculty collaborating on global health research.
