Elisavet Christou is a Lecturer in Management and Organisation Studies at Lancaster University's Management School. Her research focuses on inter/transdisciplinary approaches addressing challenges in technologically-mediated societies. She specializes in design, ICTs, evaluation methodologies, and sustainability science. Current roles include leading the Lancaster Evaluation Group and advising three PhD students in design and evaluation studies.
Her research groups include the Academy for Gender and Social Justice, Centre for Technological Futures, and Pentland Centre for Sustainability. Key projects include the Full Switch Research Consultancy Programme (2024-2025), Santander Enterprise Award (2024), and EViD Tool commercialization efforts. She actively participates in workshops like the Design Research Society Conference and delivers invited talks on creative evaluation methods.
Christou's work emphasizes innovative evaluation techniques such as the Percent Evaluation Method and EViD Tool development. Her consultancy engagements span universities and NGOs, focusing on project evaluation capacity-building. She maintains active involvement in knowledge exchange initiatives like the 'Little Book of Creative Evaluation' project and social mobility symposia.
