Dr. Eirini Konstantinidou is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Literature Film and Theatre Studies at the University of Essex. Her research explores science fiction films focused on memory and technology, with practical application in her feature film 'Mnemophrenia' examining artificial memories. Her educational background includes a PhD in Film Studies from Brunel University and an MA from University College London.
Her research interests span further education methodologies, professional practice in adult teaching, learner voice development, and neurodiversity studies. She has developed educational programs like the 'Interactive Writing System' for script development.
Dr. Konstantinidou received the Festival Director's Commendation Award at the 44th Boston Science Fiction Film Festival for her feature film exploring virtual reality's impact on human identity.
