Katherine Craft is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Radio-Television-Film at the University of Texas at Austin. Her work bridges creative practice and academic instruction, focusing on screenwriting, playwriting, and film production.

Her research interests include narrative development for emerging media platforms, with a focus on comedy and socially engaged storytelling. Craft’s recent work includes the feature script SKRRRT! (Athena List finalist), BEST FOOT FORWARD (Apple TV+ staff writer), and the HBO short JUNE (Tribeca Film Festival premiere). Her creative output often intersects with social impact initiatives.
