Professor Dorothy Yen is a Professor of Marketing and Deputy Dean of Brunel Business School at Brunel University London. She leads internationalisation strategies and student recruitment while researching consumer-centric social marketing, cross-cultural business relationships, and wellbeing-focused consumption. Her work spans aging populations, migrant acculturation, destination branding (e.g., Wales' 'Land of Dragons and Legends' initiative), and the Happy to Chat charity reducing social isolation. She holds a PhD from the University of Leeds and has held leadership roles including PGR Director and Director of Research.
Key research focuses include cultural impacts on consumer behavior, healthy aging frameworks, and the role of storytelling in tourism.
