Prof. Dr. Dirk Hanschel is a prominent academic in the fields of public law, holding the Chair of German, European and International Public Law at the University of Halle-Wittenberg since April 2015. He also serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Connecticut Law School (since Autumn 2021) and as a Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for Social Anthropology (since 2019).
