Prof. Dr. Dirk Looschelders holds the Chair of Civil Law, Private International Law, and Comparative Law at the Faculty of Law, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. His work spans research and teaching in civil law, private international law, comparative law, and private insurance law, with a focus on European aspects and joint responsibility doctrines.
