Professor Diane Gyi is a Professor of Applied Ergonomics and Design, and Director of Doctoral Programmes at Loughborough University's School of Design and Creative Arts. With a PhD in Ergonomics and extensive industry collaborations, her work focuses on designing healthier, inclusive environments across healthcare, transport, and construction sectors. She has secured over £3.5M in grants and led projects on autonomous vehicles, aging workforce ergonomics, and inclusive design.
Educations: PhD Ergonomics (Loughborough University), MSc Ergonomics (Loughborough University), DipCoT Occupational Therapy (Oxford Brookes University). Her research integrates human factors into design to address challenges like musculoskeletal disorders, aging populations, and accessible transport systems.
