Diane Gilbert

Diane Gilbert serves as Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) since April 2022. She previously spent 12 years as top assistant coach for the UWSP women's basketball team, contributing to 214-124 record, five NCAA Tournament appearances, and four WIAC Tournament titles. She also coached women's golf for two seasons. A former standout athlete, Gilbert was part of UWSP's 2002 National Championship basketball team and inducted into the UWSP Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.

Her roles at UWSP extend to NCAA Compliance and Eligibility Coordinator, Student Success Coordinator for Athletics, and service on the Athletics Hall of Fame committee. She holds a B.S. in Health Promotion and Wellness (2006) from UWSP and an M.Ed. from Edgewood College (2009), where she also served as a graduate assistant coach.

Her work emphasizes athletic administration, compliance, and student success, reflecting her dual background in athletics and education. She resides in Plover with her family.
