Alicia Scott is a Lecturer in the Department of Sport Management at Southeast Missouri State University, affiliated with the School of Allied Health, Kinesiology, & Sport Sciences. Her career spans both academic and athletic leadership roles, including coaching and administrative work in NCAA compliance and student-athlete services.
- B.A. in Psychology with a Coaching minor from Western Kentucky University (1981)
- M.S. in Physical Education from Western Kentucky University (1985)
Scott’s teaching philosophy emphasizes experience-based learning, connecting theoretical knowledge to real-world practice through engagement with industry professionals. She was part of the 1990-91 SEMO Women’s Basketball Team inducted into the university’s Athletic Hall of Fame and has received recognition in multiple athletic halls of fame.
