Professor Des Richardson holds the Alan Mackay-Sim Distinguished Chair of Cancer Cell Biology and directs the Centre for Cancer Cell Biology at Griffith University. He is also an NHMRC Senior Principal Research Fellow and leads drug discovery initiatives. His research focuses on developing anti-cancer drugs like Dp44mT and DpC, targeting metastatic and drug-resistant tumors. With over 450 publications and a Google Scholar H-index of 100, his work spans cancer biology, redox mechanisms, and translational medicine.
