Mr Derek Burns is a Doctoral Researcher and Associate Lecturer at the Sheffield Institute of Social Sciences, part of the College of Social Sciences and Arts at Sheffield Hallam University. He investigates cognitive, emotional, and motivational factors aiding international student adjustment to UK universities and contributes to the Graduate Attributes project.
