Glyn Hallam serves as Associate Professor and Associate Head of School: Psychology at York St John University, where he joined in 2024 after a seven-year tenure at the University of Huddersfield. His academic leadership spans the School of Education, Language and Psychology, contributing to both research and educational strategy.

Academic Career Trajectory: Following his doctoral studies at Sheffield, Dr. Hallam conducted postdoctoral research at York University on a Stroke Association project investigating rehabilitation of comprehension and language impairment in post-stroke aphasia. He then spent seven years at the University of Huddersfield, progressing from Lecturer to Subject Leader before joining York St John University in 2024 in his current dual role as Associate Professor and Associate Head of School.
