Dr. Emma Burns is a Research Fellow at Macquarie University, affiliated with the Macquarie School of Education and the Lifespan Health & Wellbeing Research Centre. Her work focuses on socio-motivational factors affecting adolescents' engagement in STEM, particularly examining teacher-student relationships' impact on academic outcomes. She holds a PhD from the University of New South Wales and a BA in Neuroscience from Boston University.
