Dr Janet Dutton is a Senior Lecturer at the Macquarie School of Education, Macquarie University, with expertise in teacher education, creative pedagogy, and out-of-field teaching. She has held leadership roles in schools and national curriculum development, including serving as Chief Examiner for NSW HSC English (2011–2016). Her research focuses on teacher motivation, literacy strategies for EAL/D and low SES students, and innovative mentoring programs for career-changers entering teaching.
