Dennis Pavlich is a Professor at the Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia (UBC), with over 30 years of academic experience. He has held key administrative roles including University Counsel and Vice President External and Legal Affairs, served on the UBC Senate, and was Vice Chair of the UBC Board of Governors.
His educational background includes:

Professor Pavlich's research spans Property Law, Trusts Law, Comparative Law, and Education Law, with significant contributions to Real Estate Law, Condominium Law, Academic Freedom, and Environmental Justice. His influential publications include "Real Estate Law in British Columbia", "Condominium Law in British Columbia", and "Trusts in Common-Law Canada" (LexisNexis, 2020).
His teaching excellence has been recognized with:

He actively contributes to governance as current board member of the International Centre for Criminal Law Reform (UN-affiliated) and Allard Law Alumni Association, with prior leadership at UBC Properties Trust, Rick Hansen Institute, British Columbia Law Institute, and Festival Vancouver. He co-founded the Great Northern Way Trust to establish the joint digital media studies degree across UBC, SFU, Emily Carr, and BCIT.
