Deniz Yonucu is a scholar specializing in urban anthropology, political sociology, and critical legal studies. She holds a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Cornell University (2014) and has served as a Lecturer at Freie Universität Berlin (Summer 2017). Her research explores youth violence, spatial segregation, and sovereignty in Turkey's urban contexts.
