Andrew Gardner is a Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at the University of Puget Sound. His research focuses on transnational migration, urban development in the Arabian Gulf, and the sociocultural dynamics of labor migration. He holds a BA from George Washington University (1991), an MA from the University of Arizona (2000), and a PhD from the University of Arizona (2005). His work combines ethnographic research with policy analysis, addressing issues such as migrant justice, urban segregation, and the impact of globalization on Gulf societies.
