Deborah Goodman is a Sessional Lecturer and Assistant Professor (Status Only) at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. She serves as Director of the Child Welfare Institute (CWI) at the Children’s Aid Society of Toronto, where she leads large-scale training and evaluation initiatives for human service professionals.
Her research interests are centered on improving child welfare practice through evidence-informed frameworks, with a strong focus on child and family services, children's mental health, and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD).
