Amanda Noble holds the title of Assistant Professor (Status Only) at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She currently serves as Manager of Research and Evaluation at Covenant House Toronto, where she leads research, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives focused on youth homelessness and sex trafficking prevention. Her academic and professional work emphasizes sustainable exits from homelessness, trauma-informed service delivery, and evidence-based practices for vulnerable youth.
Noble earned a PhD in Education and an MSW from York University. She is also a Community Scholar at the MAP Centre for Urban Health Solutions at St. Michael’s Hospital and an Evaluation Consultant for multiple youth homelessness agencies. Her research explores intersections between systemic inequities and youth vulnerability, with a focus on policy advocacy and program effectiveness.
Key areas of expertise include trauma recovery pathways, housing stability interventions, and cross-sector collaboration to address structural barriers faced by homeless youth. Her work bridges academic research with frontline service innovation, aiming to translate evidence into actionable solutions for marginalized populations.
