Debbie Kupinsky is an associate professor of art at St. Norbert College, where she oversees the 3D areas of the art discipline and teaches foundational courses in studio art and drawing, as well as advanced classes in sculpture, ceramics, and global art history. Her creative practice investigates how objects and images construct meaning, focusing on themes of memory, relationships, and the interplay between natural and manmade environments.

Kupinsky’s research explores material-based inquiry through ceramic, wax, wood, cloth, and found objects, often resulting in immersive installations that challenge viewers’ perceptions. Her work has been exhibited nationally, including solo shows at Abel Contemporary Gallery (2023) and Derryberry Gallery (2018), with themes reflecting conceptual motivations tied to memory and environmental intersections.
