Deanna Davis

Deanna Davis serves as Adjunct Faculty at Richmont Graduate University and Clinical and Senior Director at Richmont Trauma Center. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 30 years of clinical experience specializing in trauma and relational therapy. Her credentials include Approved Clinical Supervisor and AAMFT Approved Supervisor designations.

Her educational background features a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University, supplemented by certificates in Trauma Counseling and Spirituality and Counseling. Advanced training encompasses the three-year Somatic Experiencing Practitioner program, Emotion Focused Couples Therapy Core Skills, Internal Family Systems methodology, and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.

Deanna integrates body-based, emotional, and spiritual approaches to address trauma, PTSD, complex relational distress, and spiritual crises. Her clinical philosophy emphasizes holistic healing through evidence-based modalities including Somatic Experiencing (nervous system regulation), Emotion Focused Therapy (attachment science), and Internal Family Systems (parts integration). She specializes in supporting therapists, ministry workers, cross-cultural professionals, and organizational leaders navigating secondary trauma and compassion fatigue.

As a clinical supervisor, she mentors counseling students and professionals through licensure requirements for LPC and LMFT credentials. She also leads international seminars on integrating spiritual-emotional health with contemplative practices, drawing from her experience as a third-culture adult and completion of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.
