Nikki Golden

Dr. Nikki Golden is an Assistant Professor in Seattle University's Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. Her research examines the interplay of addiction, trauma, and identity, with specialization in dual-credentialed supervision and LGBTQ+ mental health. Golden utilizes systems theory, DBT, and EMDR in clinical practice.

With 14 years of clinical experience, she has directed residential co-occurring disorder programs and managed outpatient mental health services. Credentials include Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP), Masters of Addiction Counselor (MAC), and Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS). Golden serves on the WA-SAIGE board and is an AAMFT-approved supervisor.
