Dr. David Roach is a Professor of Communication at Texas Tech University's Department of English within the College of Arts and Sciences. With over 24 years of academic leadership including roles as Associate Dean and Department Chair, his work focuses on instructional communication, organizational dynamics, and pedagogical strategies. He has received multiple teaching awards including the TTU President's Excellence in Teaching Award and National Communication Association's Scholarship of Teaching award.
Research interests center on communication pedagogy with specializations in nonverbal communication, religious communication, and leadership studies. His publications analyze classroom dynamics, cross-cultural instruction, and educational psychology.
