David Marshall is a Research Fellow at Georgetown University’s Berkley Center for Religion, Peace, and World Affairs, serving as Academic Director of the Building Bridges Seminar—a theological dialogue initiative between Muslim and Christian scholars. He has held teaching roles at institutions including St. Paul’s University (Kenya), Edinburgh University, Duke Divinity School, Pontifical Institute for Arabic and Islamic Studies (Rome), and Bern University. Marshall’s work spans interfaith relations, theological education, and comparative theology.
Research and Publications
His research focuses on Christian-Muslim dialogue across topics like freedom, power, sin, and science. Publications include edited volumes on divine creativity, forgiveness, and eschatology, reflecting his interdisciplinary approach. He has also contributed to academic seminars on law, society, and devotional life.
