David DiGregorio is a Director of Research at CNRS (DR-1, equivalent to Full Professor) and serves as the Director of the Department of Neuroscience at Institut Pasteur since 2018. His research focuses on synaptic physiology, neural circuit computations, and optical imaging techniques. He founded the Principles of fluorescence microscopy Masters/PhD course at Pasteur (2016-2018) and co-coordinated an NIH Brain Initiative Grant. He has supervised 4 PhD students and 9 postdoctoral fellows.
- Education: Habilitation (2012), PhD in Physiology (2000) from UCLA, and BS in Biology (1992) from Stanford.
- Research Highlights: Expertise in dendritic integration, calcium dynamics, and neurotransmitter uncaging.
