Darren FitzGerald is an Honorary Associate Professor at the Australian National University (ANU) Law School, where he lectures in postgraduate courses such as International Commercial Arbitration and Commercial Law. With over 25 years of experience in Asia, he founded FitzGerald Lawyers in Hong Kong (2012) and Australia (2015) and has held roles at Coudert Brothers, the first Western law firm in China. He is also a chartered arbitrator and serves on committees for the Law Society of New South Wales and the Australian Centre for Commercial International Arbitration.
- Education: First Class Honours in Arts and Law from ANU; Chevening Scholar at Jesus College, Cambridge (LLM in Commercial Law); Pegasus Scholar at a leading Lincolns Inn intellectual property set.
Research Interests focus on Commercial and Corporate Law, particularly in international contexts.
