Dr. Can Eken is an Assistant Professor in Commercial Law at Durham Law School, affiliated with the Institute of Advanced Study and Wolfson Research Institute for Health and Wellbeing. As a triple-qualified lawyer (California, Turkey, England & Wales), he focuses on international commercial arbitration, investment law, and third-party funding. He holds fellowships with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and has lectured globally. His research explores innovative dispute resolution methods, including blockchain arbitration and environmental considerations in investment rulings.
