Dr Darren Bradshaw is an Associate Professor in Functional Materials and Head of the Functional Inorganic Materials and Supramolecular Chemistry department at the University of Southampton. His research focuses on advanced materials, particularly metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), with applications in filtration, catalysis, and biomedical interfaces. He leads projects funded by EPSRC and the European Union, including the 'peptide-MOF' and 'BIOMOF' initiatives. His work bridges chemistry, materials science, and nanotechnology, emphasizing sustainable synthesis and functional material design.
