Daniela Urbina Julio

Daniela Urbina Julio is an Assistant Professor of Sociology at USC. Her research investigates family demography, gender inequality, and educational outcomes, employing quantitative and computational methods to study assortative mating, household labor division, and career choices.

Before joining USC, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Oxford's Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology and Social Policy from Princeton University. Her work has received multiple awards from the American Sociological Association.
