Dr. Daniel Susskind is a Research Professor at King’s College London’s Department of Political Economy and a Fellow in Economics at Oxford University. His work focuses on the societal and economic impacts of technology, particularly AI, on work and professions. He co-authored the influential book The Future of the Professions and authored A World Without Work, hailed as essential reading for policymakers. Previously, he served in senior policy roles in the UK Government, including positions in the Prime Minister’s Strategy Unit and 10 Downing Street.
Education: Kennedy Scholar at Harvard University.
Research interests include AI’s transformation of labor markets, policy responses to technological disruption, and the future of work.
