Patrick Law is a Post Graduate Researcher (part-time) at King's College London, affiliated with the Strand Group and The Policy Institute within the Faculty of Social Science & Public Policy. His research focuses on the emergence and impact of the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff role during Tony Blair’s government (1997–2007), analyzing archival materials and elite interviews. He holds an MA in Contemporary History and Politics from King's College London and a degree in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics.

His research interests include Downing Street operations, New Labour dynamics, and the evolution of Prime Ministerial support structures. Previously, Patrick worked in private-sector communications and government relations for companies like British Gas and Barratt Developments. He now serves as an independent communications consultant.
